My Review:
Mama's Boy is a fun, flirty, romantic, and emotional story. I love that we get another Hartigan story. Fiona's story begins with a Bramble profile, intended revenge, and a brand new attitude. Her match is Dixon Beckett, CEO of a cosmetics company. His story begins with a bet between cousins, a Bramble profile, and insistence on being the last-man-standing. Both characters have painful events in their pasts that interfere with their ability to move forward in the present. They may just be each other's downfall or everything they needed.
This book is rich in realism and emotional content. There is plenty of backstory provided for both characters that explain Fiona and Dixon's lives as they are now. I loved them together and their chemistry was off the charts. Fiona and Dixon are two unlikely people brought together in a fun and entertaining story.
Avery Flynn is a wonderful storyteller with unique characters, themes, and settings. Her stories pull you in and keep you thoroughly engaged and entertained. I enjoyed Mama's Boy and can't wait for Neanderthal.
