My Review:

Obsidian Empire is the third and final book in the Firebird and the Wolf trilogy. Tatyana and Oleg’s story comes to a satisfying conclusion but the path to their HEA is paved with secrets, betrayal, and bloodshed.

Obsidian Empire was everything I had hoped it would be and so much more. I’m sad to see these characters go, or get relegated to background characters in future books, but the author ends their trilogy in spectacular fashion. The novel is full of action, adventure, passion, and suspense.

The writing is fluid and cohesive, never becoming wordy or confusion. The conversations flow, the character development dynamic, and the continued world-building strong and vivid. The pacing of the story is perfect, never too fast or too slow.

Prepare to get lost inside Tatyana and Oleg’s final story.

My Review:

Carys's final story in the Shadowlands trilogy is nothing short of brilliant. 

The only way to keep the Brightlands and the Shadowlands from colliding is by getting Morrigan back into the Shadowlands. 

Get ready for a wild ride as Carys attempts to rid the Brightlands of the goddess she unleashed. The novel is interesting, full of action and adventure, and draws the reader in from the start. The writing is fluid and cohesive, the story perfectly paced, and Carys's adventures are neatly tied up into a perfect ending.

My Review:

Crimson Oath is the exciting second book in the Firebird and the Wolf series. The book continues Tatyana and Oleg’s story. Tatyana has been coming to terms with the death of not only someone she knows but her human death as well. Now a water vampire, Tatyana is hiding from Oleg and learning about the magic she now wields, all while traversing this new landscape.

Crimson Oath was everything I had hoped it would be and so much more. This novel was extremely well-crafted. The novel is exciting, full of action and adventure, and draws the reader in from the start. The writing is fluid and cohesive, never becoming wordy or confusing. The pacing of the story is excellent and isn't too fast, slow, or boring.

The main and supporting characters are well written, developed at the proper speeds, and likable. This is an excellent work of fiction. I'm glad I had the opportunity to read, indulge, and completely get lost in Crimson Oath.

My Review:

The Shadow Path is the second book in Elizabeth Hunter's Shadowlands series. This story is amazing. I was pulled in by the synopsis and the desperate need to read to the next book in the series. I'm a huge lover of dragons and love that aspect of this book, however, there is so much more to the story. One woman who walks between the dark and the light must now choose between two men who have the same face but reside in very different worlds. 

The novel is full of world building, character  development, mythology, and fairytales. Everything about The Shadow Path just works. The novel is interesting, full of action and adventure, and draws the reader in from the start. The writing is fluid and cohesive, never becoming wordy or confusing. The pacing of the story is excellent and isn't too fast, slow, or boring. The main and supporting characters are well written, developed at the proper speeds, and likable. This is an excellent work of fiction.

The Shadow Path is a fantastic sequel to First Light. This novel was extremely well-crafted. The growth of Carys, Duncan, and Cadell is outstanding. The continued world building had me right inside the story. I'm so happy to be back in this world. This is an excellent work of fiction and I can't wait for book three.

My Review:

Blood Mosaic is everything I had hoped it would be and so much more. Tatyana and Oleg are relationship goals! Complete opposites in more ways than one, they compliment each other. Tatyana is strong, independent, and sassy. Oleg is old-fashioned, controlling, and fiercely protective. 

When Oleg hires Tatyana to track down funds embezzled from his company, Tatyana has no idea who she's dealing with on either side. Her boss is a vampire and the embezzler is dangerous. Tatyana quickly realizes that things from horror stories and nightmares are true. She's smack dab in the middle of a war between supernatural beings that she gets schooled in very quickly. Now that Tatyana is privy to the secrets of the vampires, life as she knows it will never be the same.

This novel was extremely well-crafted. Blood Mosaic is full of world building, character introduction  and development. Everything about Blood Mosaic just works. The novel is exciting, full of action and adventure, and draws the reader in from the start. The writing is fluid and cohesive, never becoming wordy or confusing. The pacing of the story is excellent and isn't too fast, slow, or boring. The main and supporting characters are well written, developed at the proper speeds, and likable. This is an excellent work of fiction. I'm glad I had the opportunity to read, indulge, and completely get lost in Blood Mosaic.

I am a huge fan of Elizabeth Hunter and devour everything she writes.

My Review:

First Light is the first book in Elizabeth Hunter's new Shadowlands series and the story is fantastically amazing. I was drawn in by the author (I read everything I can by Elizabeth Hunter) and the synopsis. As a huge lover of dragon stories I knew First Light would be right up my alley. This book is about so much more than dragons, though. 

When Carys's boyfriend, Lachlan, up a disappears one day, she takes it upon herself to travel to Scotland to find him. First stop is his twin brother's home. Duncan isn't excited to see her but Carys is persistent. When Carys finally breaks down Duncan's walls, he tells her fantastical stories about fairytales being real, other worlds, and magic. What she finds in the Shadowlands, however, are lies, deceit, and treachery. As she navigates a world she only thought was alive through mythologies, her life and the lives of those she's come to know may be in danger.

This novel was extremely well-crafted. First Light is full of world building, character introduction & development, mythology, and fairytales. Everything about First Light just works. My Review:

Brigid and Carwyn. Ben and Tenzin. Two of the hottest couples born from the Elemental Mysteries series. I loved how Elizabeth Hunter brought them together, one couple from Elemental Covenant and one couple from Elemental Legacy. One final showdown between Brigid's past with surprising connections to Tenzin, and the present. Brilliantly crafted, filled with twists and turns, and completely engaging, Tin God is yet another 5 star novel. I'm glad I had the opportunity to read, indulge, and completely get lost in Tin God. 

In case you've never read one of my reviews of an Elizabeth Hunter novel, I am a huge fan and devour everything she writes. She has never written anything but the best stories. I’ve been one of her biggest fans since I devoured A Hidden Fire, the first book in the Elemental Mysteries series. All of Elizabeth's novels reach deep within my emotional center and trigger reactionary responses. These types of books are my favorite. The emotions don't have to always include tears; it is just the ability to invoke proper emotional responses to scenarios being played out.

Everything she writes is phenomenal. Elizabeth Hunter is, by far, one of my all-time favorite authors. She has writing skills that just draw the reader in from the very beginning. When I was originally approached to review the ARC of A Hidden Fire (Elemental Mysteries, Book One) in 2011, never did I expect as much literary power to come from within the pages of a brand new author, and every single book I've read from Elizabeth Hunter since then carries that same power. I have been mesmerized by her books from the very beginning.

My Review:

Fangs, Frost, and Folios is a new story in the Elemental Mysteries/World (Book 13). I love being in the Elemental Mysteries world and back with Bea and Gio! I'm so excited to hang with them. Bea and Gio are searching for a rare manuscript across the pond. Ben and Tenzin are spending the holidays with Sadia in California.

Fangs, Frost, and Folios is fantastic. The novella is interesting and draws the reader in from the start. The writing is fluid, conversational, and cohesive, never becoming wordy or confusing. The pacing of the story is excellent and isn't too fast, slow, or boring. The main and supporting characters are well written, developed at the proper speeds, and likable. They are written with realism (despite being vampires).

I highly recommend everything written by Elizabeth Hunter.
