Vixen's Guide to Christmas by @chelle_sloan is now LIVE!

My Review:

Vixen’s Guide to Christmas is another amazing book in the Guide to Love series.

I absolutely adored Kat and Grayson’s story. Both are fantastic characters. Tossed together during a speed dating event, they don’t realize they are rivals. They had a connection from the second they met. That connection continues to increase throughout the entire novel.

I love the author's writing style; smooth and conversational. Wonderful world building with descriptions so vivid I felt like I was there. The character development is exceptional. I love each character's personality, how they were created, the three-dimensional qualities, and their uniqueness.

I was provided with a copy of this book. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Chelle Sloan has revealed the cover for Good Girl's Guide to Love ~ #Romance #FakeDating #SportsRomance

Releasing: September 4, 2025

Cover Designer: Chelsea Kemp

About the Book:

A sexy, bad boy/good girl, fake dating, football romance from bestselling author Chelle Sloan

GUIDE TO LOVE RULE #37: Fake it till you make it. Just don't fall in love.

Ever since I can remember, I've always played it safe. I didn't take chances. I’m the quintessential good girl of the Banks family.

At least, I was until Linc Kincaid walked into my life.

Now I'm doing things I never thought I'd do. Getting drunk. Singing at karaoke bars. Kissing hot as sin football players for the world to see.

One minute I'm a shy nurse whose biggest problem was that her ex-boyfriend was back in town. The next I’m fake dating the bad boy of the Nashville Fury.

Because yeah…that happened.

Linc and I didn't mean to get ourselves into this situation, but after pictures of our crazy night hit the internet, we agreed it was a genius plan: I needed help to keep my clingy ex-boyfriend away and he needed to clean up his image. A win-win.

Plus, he was up front with me—he didn't do long term. And since I'm a forever kind of girl, there was no way I was going to fall in love with my fake boyfriend.

Right?

Wrong. So Wrong.

In my defense, he started holding my hand for the cameras. And kissing my forehead. Calling me a swoony nickname that caused all the butterflies.

But I was holding out. Being strong. Until he offered to give me spicy lessons in the bedroom.

And I said yes.

I guess that's what I get for taking chances.

Now, somewhere along the way, I fell in love with my fake boyfriend.

And there's no guide to love for that.

#BookReview ~ Roommate's Guide to Love by Chelle Sloan ~ #Romance #NewRelease @Chelle_Sloan valentine_pr_

Roommate's Guide to Love by Chelle Sloan is now live!

A sexy, small town, single dad, roommates to lovers romance from bestselling author, Chelle Sloan.

About the Book:

GUIDE TO LOVE RULE #6: Flings are temporary. Falling for the single dad could be forever.

I believe the saying is "never say never." To that I say hold my beer.

I never thought I'd quit my job as a middle school teacher because of a group of unpleasant parents, yet I did with my middle finger in the air and no regrets.

Now I'm back in the small town in Tennessee where I grew up unsure of the future, facing temptation on a daily basis in the form of Porter McCoy.

For years, we've had the perfect “situationship.” I couldn’t get enough of the flirty bar owner and neither of us wanted anything serious. So twice a year when I came to visit my family, we'd do our thing. It was deliciously sexy with no strings attached.

Yet when an unexpected surprise lands on his doorstep in a pink dress and a baby carrier, everything changes—especially after he asks me to move in with him to help raise his niece.

Somehow I agree, but under one condition—what we had is no more. Because sleeping together and living together is a little too much like a relationship. Something neither of us are looking for.

Porter agrees, but soon I realize I underestimated my strength to resist the newly single dad.

Because it should be illegal for him to cuddle her shirtless.

Or walk around the house in just a towel.

And when we share a look, I remember what it felt like when he kissed me.

Which now brings me to my latest never: I never thought I'd fall in love with Porter McCoy.

And there's no guide to love for that.

My Review:

Roommate's Guide to Love is an amazing novel. I loved Quinn and Porter's story. Both are fantastic characters. Their no-strings-attached situationship has worked for years. However, their relationship gets a lot more complicated when an estranged sibling leaves her daughter in Porter's care. Porter needs Quinn to help him and they end up roommates. Their lives change significantly but now they have to figure out if there is enough room for love.

The chemistry between Quinn and Porter is electric. It's undeniable from the first minute they are together. What may have started out as friends-with-benefits develops into something else entirely. I was onboard for their wild ride from the very start.

I love the author's writing style; smooth and conversational. The various settings are described vividly and I felt like I was there. The character development is exceptional. I love each character's personality, how they were created, the three-dimensional qualities, and their uniqueness. I have added Chelle Sloan to my favorite authors list. She knocks her books out of the park.

Known for her witty sense of humor, Chelle Sloan is a former sports editor who after years in the newspaper business, decided to become a romance author. You know, because that’s the normal path to writing happily ever afters.

An Ohio native, she’s fiercely loyal to Cleveland sports, is the owner of way too many tumblers and will be a New Kids on the Block fan until the day she dies. She does her best writing at Panera, or anywhere that’s not her office.

When she’s not writing, you can find her in the kitchen attempting to become a baker, fixing up her condo (badly and by watching YouTube videos), or falling in love with a book.

As for her own happily ever after? Maybe one day…

#BookReview ~ Single Mom's Guide to Love by Chelle Sloan ~ #Romance #BillionaireRomance #OneNS

Single Mom's Guide to Love by Chelle Sloan is now live!

About the Book:

A sexy, marriage of convenience, one night stand, British hero romance from bestselling author, Chelle Sloan.

GUIDE TO LOVE RULE #50: Love isn't always convenient. Sometimes marriage is.

My name is Maeve Banks—Type A single mom; oldest daughter; and renowned interior designer for millionaire bachelors.

And the new Mrs. Logan Matthews.

The latter title is not something I wanted, but something I was forced to do. And for good reason: My adorable six-year old son.

The guide for my perfectly controlled life was simple: No dating or distractions. Focus on my son and my business.

Everything was going to plan until the night Logan Matthews—one of the world's youngest, and most eligible billionaires—sits down next to me at an airport bar.

He distracted me with his perfect smile and chiseled jaw line. His British accent didn’t hurt either.

When he asked me to dance? I was a goner.

But it was one night. No harm in a little fun, right?

Wrong.

Turns out my one-night of fun is now my newest client.

Which is fine. I'm an adult. I can resist his charm. And that he's great with my son. Or when he calls me "love.”

But as much as both of us make it look like we have our lives in order, they're anything but.

So Logan offers me a proposal—the one where we get married as a temporary fix to both our problems.

My ex-husband is fighting for custody of my son. And Logan needs a wife to give the media something to talk about.

It's a marriage of convenience. Nothing more, nothing less.

There's just one problem: I think I'm falling in love with my husband.

And there's no guide to love for that

My Review:

Single Mom's Guide to Love is an amazing novel. Maeve and Logan are such fantastic characters. Maeve is an interior designer for billionaire bachelors. On her way home to Tennessee after working with a client, she finds herself in the airport bar waiting for her flight. When a handsome man bellies up to the bar, she's a goner. Logan is drawn to the woman at the bar. She's challenging but he loves it and wants to spend as much of their limited time together as possible. Neither realize that this one night stand is going to become so much more than that.

I loved this book so much. The chemistry between Maeve and Logan is undeniable and spicy hot from the very start. They are imperfect but perfect for one another. It takes a marriage of convenience, though, for them to realize their feelings really aren't so fake.

I love the author's writing style; smooth and conversational. The various settings are described vividly and I felt like I was there. The character development is exceptional. I love each character's personality, how they were created, the three-dimensional qualities, and their uniqueness. Obviously, there are some characters that are not desirable or likeable but they are, nonetheless, written wonderfully. I have added Chelle Sloan to my favorite authors list. She knocks her books out of the park.

#Review ~ Runaway Bride's Guide to Love by Chelle Sloan #BrothersBestFriend #AgeGap #Romance

Runaway Bride's Guide to Love by Chelle Sloan is now live!

A swoony, age gap, brother’s best friend, runaway bride romance from bestselling author, Chelle Sloan.

About the Book:

What happens when a dream wedding turns into a complete nightmare?

Horrible Dress - Check ✔️

No Flowers - Check ✔️
A cheating groom pretending to be my Prince Charming - Check ✔️

What should have been a highlight of my life turned into me becoming a runaway bride after seeing my fiancé doing something no bride should ever see.

And instead of celebrating my marriage at my reception with my loved ones and adoring new husband, I'm getting drunk at a dive bar with a handsome stranger.

A stranger who shows up at my brother’s beach house, where I’m spending my honeymoon – alone.

But it turns out that my handsome stranger isn’t a real stranger at all. Emmett Collins is also my brother's best friend and business partner.

I never pictured myself wanting a man like Emmett in his country boy jeans. But he turns out to be exactly who and what I need.

Two weeks. That's what we've given ourselves. It's the perfect vacation fling. He doesn't do relationships and my life is…well…a mess is putting it lightly.

There's just a few problems. Emmett makes me feel safe. His quiet smile lights me up inside. And that first time he kisses me? He brings out butterflies I never knew I could feel.

I think I'm falling in love with a man who doesn't believe in forever.

And there's no guide to love for that.

My Review:

Runaway Bride's Guide to Love is my first experience with Chelle Sloan's books. I loved this book so much. Stella and Emmet are such fantastic characters. Stella is a runaway bride after a series of unfortunate events that began the night of the rehearsal dinner and culminated in the shock of her life the day of the wedding. She finds an unlikely hero at a local bar who, instead of being a predator, is her knight-in-shining-armor.

Emmet Collins feels drawn to the disaster of a bride who found her way into the same bar as him. When she slips out of his house the morning after he made sure she was safe after her meltdown and drinking binge. He never expected to see her again, and they didn't exchange names or contact information.

That changes when Stella goes on her honeymoon anyway to one of her brother Simon's beach houses. When her brother's business partner pops in to check on her as a favor to Simon both are shocked to meet again. They spend a wonderful two weeks together, knowing things can't continue when they return home to Tennessee. Except, there's a problem. It seems feelings were caught.

This book is amazing. Stella is a rock star and Emmett is is so kind and considerate. Their chemistry is undeniable from their first meeting in that bar after she fled her wedding. Emmett is a wonderful help for Stella as she's going through the phases of grief over her broken engagement. I loved watching Stella evolve throughout Runaway Bride's Guide to Love, getting stronger and more confident. She sassy and funny.

I will definitely be adding Chelle Sloan to my favorite authors list.
