My Review:

A Billionaire for Christmas is a delightful story that happens to take place near Christmas. This novel features a chef looking to save the restaurant that she built with her late friend and business partner, Ana. Molly inherits everything when Ana passes but there seems to be a catch. Moly must now take up the mantle of this zany bucket list Ana was working through. Christmas Eve is the deadline and with the sheer volume of grief Molly has been enveloped in, while doing two jobs to keep the restaurant open, her time is almost up. Her location at a swanky ski resort may just save her and her livelihood. Then, she locks eyes with a devastatingly handsome man from across the room, embarrasses herself, and much to both of their chagrin, an unfortunate coincidence lands them back together again. 

The author wrote a novel that runs the gamut of emotions. The sadness that envelopes Molly is palpable. She's still grieving the loss of her best friend and the author does a great job of writing these emotions delicately. The sheer nature of the bucket list has Molly stressed out. If she can't complete the list in the mandated amount of time, she loses everything. The reader can feel her despair when it looks like she's not going to be able to fulfill the terms of Ana's will. 

The insta-attraction with Levi is hot and heavy. Their chemistry shoots off the pages of the book, despite Levi's resistance. I wish there would have been a bit more affection between Molly and Levi. He's pretty mean to Molly in a few passages that cause me to tear up. Sure he's a billionaire who has been used, abused, and taken advantage of, causing his skin to harden. That doesn't give him the right to screw with Molly's very evident feelings. 

Don't even get me started on his family. Oh, boy do they ALL need therapy. I love how the author brought everyone together and used Molly as a conduit for change. Her personality draws people in and allows them to feel comfortable (except maybe Val, at first). Unfortunately, they also think they can use her as a scapegoat. Their rudeness and selfishness could have been turn offs but the author develops them throughout the time we spend with them. We get to know a lot about Molly, and once the family gets involved, we learn a lot about Levi and his family.

A Billionaire for Christmas is a great novel. Ther is so much chaos (good and bad) that you can't help but become immersed from the very beginning. I was pulled in and kept entertained throughout. The story features unresolved grief, stepping outside your comfort zone, and finding love where you least expect it.

My Review:

Owen is the exceptional third book in The Billionaire Boys series. 

Owen is a runaway groom set to marry a woman he didn't love and who didn't love him. When he lands in Cyprus to escape the fury of not only his family but hers, Owen is just looking unwind and come to terms with his decision. What he wasn't looking for was a hot military commander and her cute-as-a-button daughter. Sparks fly as Owen's world crashes down around him.

I loved Owen and Jade's story. The author delves into so many things with this book. A billionaire with a pathetic family life, one that forces him to be something and someone he's not. A independent, female, military squadron leader, her baby, and the baby's absent father. A meet-cute that dissolves the ice around Owen's heart and brings out the man he's always been meant to be; one that's been trying to be a better man, less selfish, and more interested in others. 

Owen and Jade are fantastic characters. When I read about Owen in Jacob, the second book in the series, I was clear in my review of that story that I did not like Owen. His inability to take no for answer was a huge turnoff. He was egotistical and very much all about Owen and no one else. I also knew that his story was going to be good - and I was right. 

I was drawn into this story 100%. The characters are dynamic and three dimensional. They have feelings, emotions, imperfections, and realistic qualities. Owen is definitely an instalove story and I was down with the love-at-first-sight vibe. The author delivered a compelling romance filled with ups and downs, imperfect characters, and a love that became everything.

My Review:

Wedded Chaos entertained me from the very first page. Gracyn quits her job at her dad’s establishment after an altercation with the manager. She is weeks away from graduating and becoming a teacher and a little relieved to have some time off to concentrate. A chance meeting in a coffee shop has Gracyn crashing a bachelor party to hang out with Brooks. When she awakens the next morning it’s in a hospital bed with a marriage certificate for herself and Brooks.

Two different sides of the country, two different lifestyles, but a whole lot of chemistry. The story is fast-paced as post-Vegas-wedding chaos has Gracyn trying to annul the marriage and Brooks dragging his feet. I love how this book is not predictable. So many events happen that you will not suspect, and it just makes this story that much more fabulous.

This is my first experience with Tina Saxon, and it will not be my last. Her story telling is fascinating and I love her writing style. I enjoyed every bit of Wedded Chaos.

My Review:

Oh, where to start with Jacob. The book is intense and steamy, romantic and filled with regret, and a wonderful friends-to-lovers romance. Off-limits due to a pact made in his teens, Jacob never went after Skye. Her off-again-on-again relationship with one of his besties, Owen, made a relationship between Jacob and Skye impossible. Jay just loves her from afar, and has for years, even though it makes him miserable.

Skye knew Owen wasn't for her and finally put an end to their lukewarm relationship. His inconsiderate nature finally did her in. After an incident at the office with Jacob, her friend and boss, Skye is seeing Jacob in a new light,. A light she now wants to be part of and one she can't believe she never saw shining right in her face. There's a ridiculous bro code from when there were all teenagers standing in her way. One, that if Skye has her way, will cease to exist. 

I loved Jacob and Skye's story. It's one filled with regrets but one each character is mature enough now to see. Jacob knows he needs to stay away from Skye due to the agreement between himself and his best friends, Owen and Lincoln. Working along next to Skye and seeing her five days a week at work will have to satisfy him. The author delivers a compelling romance that is filled with ups and downs. The conflict in the story is heart-wrenching and every person's nightmare, especially for women. The author was delicate and considerate in writing everything in this book.

I was drawn into this story 100%. The characters are dynamic and three dimensional. They have feelings, emotions, imperfections, and realistic qualities. I felt for Jay as he watched the love of his life live her life with him in the friendzone. I felt for Skye after her feelings for Jay became apparent and he became standoffish. Full disclosure - I did not like Owen's character. He definitely doesn't know how to take no for an answer and is all about himself. He plays his part well and I can't wait to read his story because you know it's going to be good.

This is my first book by VH Nicolson. I could kick myself for not finding VH sooner and grabbing up Lincoln's book. He is also in this book and now I need to know his story. A mistake that I just remedied by purchasing a copy of Lincoln.

I loved Jacob and Skye's story and can't wait to read more by VH Nicolson.

My Review:

Undercover Billionaire is a sexy forbidden romance. Kelsey is a bartender on a cruise ship sailing through the Mediterranean. Ari Callisthenes is the billionaire to a Greek shipping line. He's also cruising on his own ship but incognito. When Kelsey and Ari meet, the sparks fly for both of them but their romance is forbidden. Kelsey isn't allowed to fraternize with the guests, and Ari doesn't want to disclose who he is to anyone. That will blow his cover and the whole reason he's on the ship.

I enjoyed Undercover Billionaire. There is fun, chemistry, and steam between the pages. Both main characters have unpleasant baggage that forces them to step away from the idea of a relationship. When they meet on the ship and Kelsey has to seek Ari out in his stateroom, their connection intensifies. Lovers of romance (forbidden, steamy, billionaire) will be entertained by Undercover Billionaire and the book's main characters.

The author's writing style is amazing. I'm drawn into everything I've read by Amy Andrews. Her characters are well-developed and her scene building pulls the reader right into the events happening on the page. I've enjoyed meeting her characters in every book I've had the chance to read.

I loved being back on a cruise ship even if it was just in my imagination. My husband and I cruised in February 2024 (my third, my husband's first) and are already planning another one in the near future. I highly recommend these floating cities with the best attendants, wide array of onboard activities, and exotic destinations.

I fucking love chocolate sauce,” he says in a low, quiet voice. I look up and find his eyes fixed on the tip of my finger.

My Review:

Riches and Romance is a wonderful billionaire romance collection of 4 novellas by 4 amazing authors. I love all of the stories. They are well-written, engaging, and romantic.

I really enjoyed Daring Her Love. Kat and Eric's story is super steamy and full of fun. I love their instant connection and how they continue to be drawn together. This novella takes place in the world of The Bradens, another of Melissa Foster's amazing romance series.

My Review:

Single Mom's Guide to Love is an amazing novel. Maeve and Logan are such fantastic characters. Maeve is an interior designer for billionaire bachelors. On her way home to Tennessee after working with a client, she finds herself in the airport bar waiting for her flight. When a handsome man bellies up to the bar, she's a goner. Logan is drawn to the woman at the bar. She's challenging but he loves it and wants to spend as much of their limited time together as possible. Neither realize that this one night stand is going to become so much more than that.

I loved this book so much. The chemistry between Maeve and Logan is undeniable and spicy hot from the very start. They are imperfect but perfect for one another. It takes a marriage of convenience, though, for them to realize their feelings really aren't so fake.

I love the author's writing style; smooth and conversational. The various settings are described vividly and I felt like I was there. The character development is exceptional. I love each character's personality, how they were created, the three-dimensional qualities, and their uniqueness. Obviously, there are some characters that are not desirable or likeable but they are, nonetheless, written wonderfully. I have added Chelle Sloan to my favorite authors list. She knocks her books out of the park.

My Review:

Twisted Truths is the fourth and final book in the Midnight Manners series. The story is a gritty, dark romance. A wonderfully different, adult retelling of The Little Mermaid, this novel will pull you in and it won't let you go until the end. And even then, you'll be thinking about Obsidian and Ariana long after you close the book.

Ariana grew up a grifter with her dad and brother until she decided she wanted out. Still living with them though makes it hard on Ariana. Things go especially out of control after Ariana saves Obsidian from drowning and her father wants to use that to their advantage. Now, she is employed by Obsidian and her hidden agenda is constantly on her mind. 

Obsidian's issues and pain is always at the edge of his mind, torturing him. We've known very little about him in the previous books. Twisted Truths brings Sid to the front of the line and exposes him, his complexities, the reason behind his pain. 

Ariana and Sid are perfect for one another. Their story is spicy, their chemistry electric, their romance fascinating. I love the retelling of The Little Mermaid. The story is unique, captivating, and intense. This book has wonderful characters, a sexy plot, and wonderful world-building. The authors created emotionally-driven main characters. This was a fast-paced story with a romance that developed unconventionally, but for this pair, it worked.
