Oh, Tal! Not Like That by Tal Anderson ~ @RABTBookTours #RABTBookTours #OhTalNotLikeThat #TalAnderson #ChildrensBook

Oh, Tal! Not Like That by Tal Anderson

Children's Picture Book

Date Published: April 15, 2026

About the:

Oh, Tal! Not Like That., a new book by autistic actor Tal Anderson and award-winning Hollywood artist, Michael Richey White, is Book 2 in the Oh, Tal! series for children.

Tal and the family cat, Winnie are once again taking on the world, and this time, they're doing it at school. Tal starts the school year off excited, but quickly learns that in the classroom, they like kids to follow directions, and to be the same, and do things uniformly. Tal has different ideas, however, and classmates and teachers work hard to teach and model the "right way" to do things.

In the end, they all learn a valuable lesson: that there are more ways than one to get things done, and that expressing yourself authentically leads to good things. Once again, Tal wins over hearts and confirms it's okay to be different, be yourself, and to follow your own path.

About the Author:

Tal Anderson is a professional actor, filmmaker, and writer. She is an advocate for change, using her voice and unique platform as an autistic actor to support inclusion and authentic representation in front of and behind the camera in Hollywood. She is best known for her work in the Netflix series "Atypical" as Sid, but can also be seen and heard in many other productions including, guest-starring in Season 5 of "Magnum P.I." on NBC, and as the English voice of Tina in the Disney Plus series, "Team Chocolate." Tal has always been a storyteller, and as a child could be seen constantly using her FLIP video camera, or one of several hand-held voice-recorders to record every day life, or her daily performances of stories/scripts she had made up or written. It is this love of imagination that led her to acting and filmmaking as an adult. "Oh, Tal! - Not Today," is Tal's first book. She lives in Los Angeles with her cat Winifred, where they can both live their best lives and be their true selves.

Rhea and Crowley by G.D Griffiths ~ @RABTBookTours #RABTBookTours #RheaandCrowley #GDGriffiths #ChildrensBook

Rhea and Crowley by G.D. Griffiths

Children's Picture Books

Date Published: March 10, 2026

About the Book:

Meet Rhea! She is a big, fluffy German Shepherd with a wiggly tail. She is brave and strong, but she has a tiny secret: loud thunder makes her want to hide.

Meet Crowley! He is a clever crow with shiny feathers. But he has a big worry for a bird: looking down from the sky makes him feel dizzy!

One day, on a camping trip, Rhea follows a yummy smell deep into the woods. But as she wanders further and further away from her tent, she gets lost just as big storm clouds begin to gather above her. But she isn't alone in the dark woods. She stumbles upon Crowley, a bird who would rather hop than fly.

Now, this dog and bird must become a team. Can they help each other be brave enough to find Rhea's way back to the campsite?

A story they won't outgrow

A Story That Grows With Your Child! This book features two versions of Rhea and Crowley's adventure:

Read 1 - The Read-Aloud: Short, rhythmic, and full of fun sounds for toddlers (Ages 1-5)

Read 2 -The Early Reader: An expanded story with more details and dialogue for independent readers (Ages 6-9)

About the Author:

G.D's storytelling spark was ignited in the hallowed land of Wales, where his childhood was spent exploring the sea until the legendary midnight summer twilight. His journey led him through academia, earning degrees in Computer Science and Operations Management, culminating in a PhD focused on Virtual Reality.

While pursuing his studies in Nottingham, he met his wife. Together, their spirit of adventure took them first to New Zealand, where G.D worked in the video game industry and taught Scuba Diving. A seemingly simple job inquiry brought them to California, a place they planned to "try for one year," and where they still reside almost fourteen years later in Redondo Beach.

The family, which welcomed their son in 2012, is completed by Rhea, their quirky German Shepherd. Rhea became the key inspiration for G.D's first book, ABC's With Rhea, A doggy journey through the alphabet. Having observed that children learn best through stories, G.D wrote this book to craft a specific, relatable world for each letter, encouraging children to connect deeply with the subject.

He has recently published his second book, Olly's Journey, and is already hard at work weaving new tales and adventures for his readers.

G.D's mission is to empower children to pursue their own creative writing journey.

Percy the green dinosaur explores practicing gratitude with the help of his friend Custard the unicorn, to turn his bad day around by turning his negative thoughts into positive ones. Read an Excerpt:

“Yes, our minds are so much more powerful than you could ever imagine! How about we try and shift your mindset from focusing on the negative things to being grateful for the good things?” suggests Custard.

“We can try that. I don’t like feeling sad,” says Percy.

“What are some things that you love and are grateful for?” asks Custard. “Think of as many things as you can!” they encourage. “When I’m feeling sad, I try and think of all the things that I’m grateful for and what makes me happy, and soon I don’t feel sad anymore! I’m grateful for my pet dog Buddy and that it is summertime. I love summer!”

“Oh, I’m grateful for my mummy and daddy. I’m grateful for the cosy cave that we live in. I’m grateful for my toys, I’m grateful that I’m healthy, and I’m grateful for you!” exclaims Percy excitedly.
