My Review:
Blood Mosaic is everything I had hoped it would be and so much more. Tatyana and Oleg are relationship goals! Complete opposites in more ways than one, they compliment each other. Tatyana is strong, independent, and sassy. Oleg is old-fashioned, controlling, and fiercely protective.
When Oleg hires Tatyana to track down funds embezzled from his company, Tatyana has no idea who she's dealing with on either side. Her boss is a vampire and the embezzler is dangerous. Tatyana quickly realizes that things from horror stories and nightmares are true. She's smack dab in the middle of a war between supernatural beings that she gets schooled in very quickly. Now that Tatyana is privy to the secrets of the vampires, life as she knows it will never be the same.
This novel was extremely well-crafted. Blood Mosaic is full of world building, character introduction and development. Everything about Blood Mosaic just works. The novel is exciting, full of action and adventure, and draws the reader in from the start. The writing is fluid and cohesive, never becoming wordy or confusing. The pacing of the story is excellent and isn't too fast, slow, or boring. The main and supporting characters are well written, developed at the proper speeds, and likable. This is an excellent work of fiction. I'm glad I had the opportunity to read, indulge, and completely get lost in Blood Mosaic.
I am a huge fan of Elizabeth Hunter and devour everything she writes.
