About the Book:
At the age of 24, Kashmir leaves on a one-way ticket to live abroad in Hanoi, Vietnam. She becomes an English teacher, lives with the expats and falls in love with a South African man named Brad. She finds thrill in her new life but little does she know that her true journey wouldn’t only be a worldly one, but a medical one. After nine months of debilitating migraines, she finally flies back home to seek medical attention. It’s then when she learns that she has an AVM— a cluster of blood vessels on her occipital lobe ready to burst.

Kashmir is an Author, Public Speaker & AVM survivor who shares her story of physical and mental battles with this fatal illness hoping to raise awareness and inspire readers to practice resilience against all odds.
Kashmir has a background in working on Chartered Boats as a stew & personal trainer having completed over 200 hours as a yoga instructor.
As an avid traveler, Kashmir believes in uniting people across cultures through storytelling and she advocates for accessible healthcare solutions & share how powerful mindset shifts can be life changing.
