Single All The Way
About the Book:
Travel Together Tour Manager Eve Mitchell is planning a quiet Christmas at home to rest and relax before a special New Year. But she soon, very unexpectedly, finds herself in the depths of the Essex countryside looking after a singles' group which contains some old, familiar faces and some pleasant - and not so pleasant - new ones. With its country walks, quizzes, disco and black-tie ball, the Christmas and Twixmas Break passes quickly, but just as they think it's all over the plot takes a twist and we learn some dark secrets...
My Review:
Single all the Way is the third book in the Singles series, and takes place a little closer to Eve's home - Essex. The close location is a good thing since Eve was planning to spend Christmas at home when she gets an emergency call. The Travel Together tour taking place in Essex has found itself without a tour manager. Eve gears up to take the mantle the day after Christmas.
I enjoyed Single all the Way. Each guest has a story and I liked learning their stories as the book moved along. Descriptive prose, wonderfully crafted characters, and an interesting setting pulled me into the book and kept me engaged. The author's writing had me feeling like I was in Essex with each guest. The story was told realistically, was believable, and not all sunshine and roses. I love how each book includes characters from previous books and previous trips.
I was provided a copy of this book.
