My Review:
Crime and Croissants is the first book in the Cooking Club Murder Mystery series. I enjoyed meeting Milly, Carla, Brody, Cinderboo (Hazel), and Tango. The cast of characters that are introduced are quirky and entertaining.
The author crafted the mystery well and gave us plenty of suspects. The way Milly is set up was also creative. We know she didn't do it (that's not a spoiler) but the author set the scene and it's no wonder she's the prime suspect.
I loved following the investigation, our amateur sleuths, and the cooking club. A lighthearted mystery, Crime and Croissants will keep you engaged, the characters with entertain you, and the pets? They bring their own personality and flair to the story. I can't wait for the second book.
