My Review:

Reaper by Cala Riley is an excellent first book in the new Lotus MC series by Cala Riley. Tethered in an abusive relationship, Natalie finds the courage to flee the confines of her boyfriend's home after a particularly brutal beating (on page). After months of abuse and overhearing her abuser's phone calls, Natalie flees to the only place she can think up -  the Lotus MC. Risky and dangerous, they are her only hope; her only chance at escape. 

Reaper has a problem within the club and he can't put his finger on it, frustrating no only himself but his right-hand men. When a beautiful, but broken, woman shows up asking for Kingston, he's not sure if her plea is legit or she's just part of the problem. That is, until she utters the one name that makes his blood run cold. He's now made it his mission to keep her safe and try to undo everything her abuser did.

Reaper is a beautiful and gritty MC romance, filled with suspense, action, and realism. The authors created a novel with all the feels. I laughed, cried, and got angry. I was anxious and on the edge of my seat. The synopsis pulled me in but the character-driven plot, outstanding character development and world building, and writing style kept me engaged. I was unable to put the book down.
