A Christmas Gift
Georgine loves Christmas. The festive season always brings the little village of Middledip to life. But since her ex-boyfriend walked out, leaving her with crippling debts, Georgine’s struggled to make ends meet.
To keep her mind off her worries, she throws herself into organising the Christmas show at the local school. And when handsome Joe Blackthorn becomes her assistant, Georgine’s grateful for the help. But there’s something about Joe she can’t quite put her finger on. Could there be more to him than meets the eye?
Georgine’s past is going to catch up with her in ways she never expected. But can the help of friends old and new make this a Christmas to remember after all?
My Review:
A Christmas Gift is a heartwarming holiday novel.
Georgine has been dealt a rough hand when her ex saddles her with a huge load of debt. The author did a fantastic job with Georgine's character. She is well-written and I enjoyed getting to know Georgine. The author made sure each scene was written with sensitivity and compassion.
This story has so many layers. I enjoyed peeling each one back to discover something new about Georgine and Joe. A Christmas Gift is a great escape for anyone who loves Christmas romances. I was engaged in the story from the start and the book absorbed me all the way to the end.
I was provided with a copy of this book. This does not
