My Review:
The Pompadour Necklace is book one in the Sophie's Adventures mystery series. This adventure takes place in London, England. We are introduced to Sophie, a wonderful character, and get to follow her on the case to find a missing necklace. What a wonderful start to the series.
Short and sweet, The Pompadour Necklace doesn't lack depth or substance. I enjoyed the characters, plot, and mystery. A fun read, for sure.

My Review:
Theft in Sleepy Hollow is book two in the Sophie's Adventures mystery series. This adventure takes place in New York, USA. Sophie is a wonderful character and I loved getting to follow her on the case to find a missing Monet.
Sleepy Hollow is a novella of a nice length. The story is written well, not lacking in depth or substance. I enjoyed the characters, plot, and mystery. I loved the twists and turns as Sophie unraveled the mystery to capture a thief.

DeleteGood to hear! If you haven't already tried them, you might also enjoy the Celine Skye mysteries. They feature a psychic art sleuth who takes on the unsolved Gardner Museum theft. Most of the action takes place around Paso Robles and Boston, so not quite as much traveling as you get in the Sophie's Adventures series.
