About the Book:

WELCOME TO ALPHAVILLE, where the she-wolves and alpha-males play. . .for keeps.

Renny Landry is a wolf on the run. Pursued by a shapeshifting stalker and his slobbering pack of killer coyotes, she is forced to flee her job as a librarian to find sanctuary in the wooded hills of Alpha, Washington. A well-secluded safe space for troubled shifters, Alpha is Renny’s last hope. But the first person she meets there is a gorgeous alpha male with fiery eyes, fierce tattoos, and one ferocious appetite—for her…

Mick Fischer thought he left his past behind when he moved to Alpha. But fate has a way of biting him in the tail when a female wolf shows up on his property. Wounded, desperate—and disarmingly hot—Renny brings out the snarling, protective alpha beast in Mick like no other woman he’s known. Can these two haunted, hunted wolves manage to mate for life…even as the deadliest past demons howl at their heels?

Baby, I'm Howling for You is the 1st full-length book in Christine Warren's new Alphaville series.

Renny Landry fled her home, headed toward what she hopes is safety in Alpha, to escape the claws of a cruel and abusive stalker. Alpha is a safe place for those shifters who've been cast out, are different, or need sanctuary. Renny is hoping that by getting the Alpha, her stalker will be stopped and she can live the rest of her life in peace. Just outside the border of town, her stalker's huntsmen catch up to her....

Mick Fischer lives out in the middle of nowhere on the just inside the Alpha border for a reason - he needs the quiet and to be alone. He's trying to escape his past and live in the present. All of that shatters when a wolf is pursued onto his property by a pack of hyenas. Making a call to save the wolf from the attack, Mick unknowingly re-opens his past. And then the unthinkable happens - his wolf singles her out as its own - an impossible occurrence considering Mick's past ~ or is it?

I really enjoyed Baby, I'm Howling for You. Renny is a strong character who just couldn't take the verbal, mental, emotional, and potential physical abuse from someone in a position of power. Mick is standoffish and gruff but once you learn about his past you understand his demeanor. The chemistry between Renny and Mick is off the charts even though they try to fight it off. The author doesn't do an instant relationship with them and the slow build is worth the wait.

Baby, I'm Howling for You is engaging right from the start. I couldn't put the book down and read it one setting. The story is fast-paced and full of suspense and action. The author did a great job tying Renny's present with Mick's past. I enjoyed the interactions between all of the characters and some of it was comical. I enjoyed all aspects of the book from the drama to the love and can't wait for the next book in the series.
