The sins of the past will burn you.

Bishop's Flight by Elizabeth Hunter is now live!

About the Book:

Four nights. Three days. The human son of two powerful vampires has been taken from his home, and if Carwyn and Brigid can't find him, the delicate balance of power in an immortal haven might just go up in flames.

Las Vegas holds a special appeal in the immortal world. It's a city of darkness, debauchery, and vice; a city where inhibitions are low and blood runs hot.
Rose Di Marco and Agnes Wong have been running Sin City as immortal bosses for nearly a century, but when their son is kidnapped, they turn to their neighbors for help.

Carwyn and Brigid know how to find the lost, but what they don't know is why Zasha Sokholov, a Siberian fire vampire and offshoot of an old crime family, became fixated on them. Carwyn has his suspicions, but all Brigid can think about is a fifteen-year-old boy who's been taken as bait. She'll need a clear head and the help of some unexpected allies to find him.

Bishop's Flight is the fourth book in the Elemental Covenant series by Elizabeth Hunter, ten-time USA Today Bestselling author of the Irin Chronicles and the Elemental Mysteries.

"We may try to run from our past, but it finds us. We can put continents—even millennia—between us, but in the end, the sins of the fathers will come back to visit."

My Review:

Bishop’s Flight is the fourth book in the Elemental Covenant series, a spin-off of the Elemental Mysteries, Elizabeth Hunter's original series. I loved everything about this book. There is love, action, adventure, suspense, and mystery. Carwyn and Brigid are phenomenal characters and I love their dynamics.

Brigid and Carwyn are in a time crunch. Agnes and Rose, the immortals who run Las Vegas, are the parents of two human children. Knowing the children could be targets, Lucas was assigned 24/7 bodyguards. Well, he managed to slip his detail and found himself the object of a kidnapping. There are only a few days and nights to find Lucas before the entire immortal community in Vegas unravels.

In case you've never read one of my reviews of an Elizabeth Hunter novel, I am a huge fan and read everything she writes. She has never written anything but the best stories. I’ve been one of her biggest fans since I devoured A Hidden Fire, her first book in the Elemental Mysteries series. All of Elizabeth's novels reach deep within me and manage to trigger reactionary responses. These types of books are my favorite. The emotions don't have to always include tears; it is just the ability to invoke proper emotional responses to scenarios being played out.

Everything she writes is phenomenal. Elizabeth Hunter is one of my all-time favorite authors. She has writing skills that draw the reader in from the very beginning. When I was originally approached to review the ARC of A Hidden Fire (Elemental Mysteries, Book One) in 2011, never did I expect as much literary power to come from within the pages of a brand-new author. Every single book I've read by Elizabeth Hunter since then carries that same power. I have been mesmerized by her books from the very beginning.

I was provided a copy of this book.
