My Review:
Shattered Vows is a gritty, dark romance. A wonderful retelling of Rapunzel, but spicier, this novel will pull you in and not let you go until it's over.
Kol is a dreamy hero with a horrific past. When he meets Rapsody a few years prior, he felt whole, complete. Set to be married, he's distraught when Rapsody skips out on their wedding day, then disappears completely.
Rapsody fled four years ago to keep herself and her mom safe. They've made new lives for themselves but the man of her dreams has found her. She was getting ready to marry another man when Kol swoops in on her wedding day. Kol kidnaps her and Rapsody finds herself trapped in Midnight Manor.
This book has wonderful characters, a sexy plot, and wonderful world-building. The authors created emotionally-driven main characters. This was a fast-paced story with a romance that truly never died the day Rapsody stood up Kol. There is a twist at the end that I should have seen coming, but I didn't.
I loved this book and can't wait for the next one.
